this is hands down the best hockey video i have ever sent you i’m laughing so hard o h my god
mOTHER OF GOD BIZNASTY REALLY
when people talk bad about shawn thornton i honestly feel like crying. i know that what he did was his fault and nobody’s fault but his own, but i can’t help but feel awful for him. he is such a nice guy. I’ve met him, and out of all the athletes I’ve met, he was probably the nicest. he’s so funny and sweet and seeing people knock him really strikes a cord with me. he made a mistake and now he’s known as a dirty cheap guy. one action shouldn’t define YOU. but unfortunately, i know that this is what non-bruins fans will remember him for. he’s not a goon, he’s not cheap, he’s not dirty; he’s an integral part of not only the bruins, but boston as a city, and i will defend him until the day i die, just as he defends his teammates.
caryn doing work
just in wake of everything that has happened with Thornton I thought I’d share my personal experience with him..
I met Shawn back in march of ‘12… the day after St Pattys day. I got to sit next to him during the whole signing and tried to help him out the best I could by asking what color sharpie the people coming to meet him wanted. he thanked me for that and called me “the best assistant ever”. to say thorty is a bad guy is just straight idiotic. I’ve met my fair share of athletes, and by far I fell in love with his personality and just overall attitude. he’s an unbelievable, down to earth and giving person. everyone makes mistakes and if you say that you haven’t you’re lying. I don’t condemn thortys behavior by any means but for everyone hating on him saying he’s a shitty man if you spent a day with him your thoughts would be turned upside down. excuse the rant and my ratchetness but I felt the need to share this
Having a crap day? Look! It’s an adorable Marchy!
Thornton has never been suspended before and is being basically harassed by everyone who isn’t a Bruins fan while there was barely any attention on Neal who is a repeat offender. Tell me where the logic comes in on that?
What happens when a hockey player tries to take a selfie
So I was looking at this picture of the Iginla media scrum and noticed that Caryn apparently has a new friend (she’s the brunette woman on the right side of the photo)
You know, you have this tagged as “this makes me v happy”. Honestly, I don’t think anyone is happier about this than Penguins fans. Penguins dealing with the issue internally in addition to the league handling it, is what’s actually going to cause a change. The same thing happened with Matt Cooke. He had gotten multiple suspensions, and it wasn’t until the Penguins management spoke with him (along with some things going on in his personal life) that made him change his game. While Neal personally didn’t take responsibility for his actions, the Pens organization as a whole are holding themselves accountable, and that makes me very happy.
For fuck’s sake…
Are we screwed yet?
